My name is Michelle Shockley and I am a certified Canine Training Specialist. For nearly eleven years I specialized in aggression management and obedience. My career training began in the United States Air Force with Bomb/Drug/Schutzhund trained K-9s. Along with that, I have conducted training for several years with police dogs/service dogs for not only miitary but civilians as well. Later I began to explore more with operant conditioning and started teaching what we view as positive learning. Today, I continue to not only train service dogs but have joined in training your household pets to be part of the family as well. 
    Having my own special family members "German Shepherds: Buppy and Sam" taught me that training with positive reinforcement makes both sides happier. 
    There is a unique approach in what I do and years of research and personal experience have made me a great trainer. I have a gift for connecting with pets of all kinds and have gone through trial and error to learn many different methods of training. Some people may think training is not needed for their newest, cutest, and smallest of family members but will soon realize small packages can destroy large things.  
    The big picture with making that statement is it is never too late and a pet can learn new tricks no matter what age. My teachings are not just for your pet but for you as well to know what you need to continue many years with your pet of happy living. You can rest assured that you will be satisified with the choice made to become a not only a pet owner but a trained owner. Every pet is different and together we will make sure you have a chance to apply what you are learning throughout the process.
